With excessive stress on the tender minds and hearts of the school and college goers, the time has come to understand the importance of incorporating the spiritual principles and methods to make one a truly educated i.e., one who is strong in his personal integrity, values and vision in life. This theme invites the academicians, educators, policy makers and the spiritual representatives to brainstorm and create a true value based implementable educational format for different age groups to make it more sustainable keeping in view all the dimensions of development to make a person truly understand his inner self and to make them true global citizens.

Dr Surendra Dass
Dr. Surendra Dass [M.A., L.T., Ph.D] is an educationist, trainer, author, poet wellness advisor and life coach. He is the Founder President of Integrated Healing Forum, Nagpur, Founder President of Srijan Bharati, Wardha [Maharashtra].Dr. Surendra Dass is working in the field of education for past 35 years. He is an exponent of Value Education and Life Skills Education. The concept of Skill Based Education was introduced by him in the year 2004 and since then he has been engaged in educational research, educational innovation and educational evaluation. He is also engaged in promoting mental health in schools and colleges and working passionately for providing remedies for learning disorders, conduct disorders and oppositional defiant disorders.
Dr. Vishwanath Karad
Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad is Founding Executive President and Managing Trustee of the Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER), as well as Founder and Director-General of the Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) in Pune, India. MAEER was founded in 1983, with the goal to become a "Center of Excellence in the field of education and research." It now encompasses 71 institutes, colleges and schools in the fields of engineering, management, pharmacy, medicine, and general education, including the Maharashtra Academy of Engineering, MIT, MIT Women Engineering College, MIT School of Management, Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education, Maharashtra Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, and Maharashtra Institute of Pharmacy.
Pujya Madhavpriya Swamiji
Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami completed his Sanskrit studies at Varanasi with 6 gold medals and 6 silver medals (1977).
Swamiji run many schools & hospitals, SGVP School and traditional Sanskrit Mahavidyalay at Ahmedabad are the first one in India to receive an American Accreditation. Besides hundreds of religious, spiritual and cultural discourses in many countries of America, Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia, Swamiji expanded the social and medical services of Gurukul viz. check dams, Tree Plantation, relief and rehabilitation works during natural calamities, free medical camps in the far and remote rural areas.
To honor his social and spiritual services, Sandeepany Vidyaniketan, Porbandar honored him with the title of ‘Devrshi’ (2002), Award of ‘Professional Excellence’ by Rotary International (2005), degree of ‘Vidvatvibhushan’ by Sanskrit Research Academy.
Swamiji participated in the World Religious conference in US (2000), the World Hindi Conference, US (2007), inaugurated the World Gujarati conference, NJ, US (2008). Swamiji participated in Inter faith religions conference at Delhi, Jerusalem, USA and Cambodia as a representative of Hindu Dharm Acharya Sabha.
Prem Nirmal, born in 1960, is a graduate in Electronics Engineering and has done postgraduate studies in Cybernetics, Psychological Counseling and Eastern Wisdom. He is a certified Counselor & Human Trainer. He has done extensive research in the areas of Stress Management, Emotional Intelligence & Spiritual Intelligence, Meditation and Breath work therapy.
He had been visiting faculty to various Management Institutes viz. Welingkar Institute of management & IIT Powai and many corporate training centers. He is known for his sharp – edge western scientific approach balanced by deeply insightful eastern wisdom.
Prem Nirmal experimented seriously with meditational practices suggested by his mentor Sri Dada Gavand from Yevoor Hills, Thane in 1991 and had "Explosion of Silence" experience in July 1992. He remained silent and in semi-solitude for next five years, which he calls as years of maturing.
Prem Nirmal received the knowledge of Kriya Yoga from Mahavatar Babaji as grace and he is now spreading Kriya Yoga world over as his mission. Serving in a variety of educational leadership positions from teacher, principal, superintendent, and director in three Canadian provinces, as well as working with City University of Seattle, and a Not for Profit organization in Calgary, has given Heather the opportunity to understand leadership in the 21st Century and how we need to adapt to a new paradigm.
Following over (30) thirty years in education and in educational leadership, Heather now devotes her time to executive coaching, consulting, writing, speaking and facilitating workshops.
